Possible sea conditions 100 miles from shore at the Cortes Bank. The left picture is of calm conditions on the Cortes. The center and right pictures are of a 50+ foot wave and a brave surfer on another 50+ foot wave, both at the Cortes! This is a dangerous place to be in a boat during the wrong swell conditions expecially if there is fog. That said, Brad travels to the Cortes in his 19' skiff from time to time, spends the night, and free dives on the shipreck.
